Description

You will lead strategic fundraising to modernize energy grids across Africa, India, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia, translating grid transformation into a compelling investment case for philanthropic donors and catalytic capital providers. You will design and execute a global fundraising plan to raise $25–35M, engage with philanthropic partners and multi-donor climate funds, and build narratives that connect technical grid outcomes to real-world development impact.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of global energy systems and infrastructure finance
• Ability to frame a clear, credible big picture for philanthropic investors
• Self-starting, high-energy operator with strategic judgment and execution discipline
• Experience in fundraising or business development for climate or energy projects
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a global fundraising plan to raise $25–35M start-up capital
• Engage directly with at least five core philanthropic partners and three multi-donor climate funds
• Curate co-fundraising opportunities with aligned organisations already raising donor-government funds
• Build compelling narratives, proposals, and pitch materials positioning Grids of the Future for systemic grid transformation
• Secure funding for flagship demonstration projects proving the model's effectiveness
