You will support attorneys on the litigation team by performing advanced legal assistant work, including research, drafting documents, and case management. Your role is essential to protecting religious freedom, free speech, and other constitutional rights.

Requirements

• Perform highly advanced and specialized legal assistant work independently

Responsibilities

• Act confidentially for attorneys and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules
• Electronically file documents in federal and state courts using CM/ECF
• Prepare templates for complaints, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Assist with discovery, hearings, and trial preparation including drafting notices and exhibits
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and check citations per Bluebook and court rules
