Description

You will lead credit rating processes for fund debt instruments, conduct due diligence with issuers, prepare rating memos, and mentor junior team members. Collaborate across sectors to evaluate complex strategies and represent KBRA at industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Math or related fields
• 8+ years in fund finance, investing, or structured finance
• Experience with investment strategies in private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, or asset-based lending
• Understanding of subscription lines, NAV financing, hybrid facilities, or rated feeders
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead new issuance rating process including capital structure and legal protection evaluation
• Conduct due diligence meetings with issuers and managers
• Prepare rating memos and recommendations for rating committees
• Lead ongoing monitoring and surveillance of outstanding issuances
• Supervise and mentor junior team members
