💼 About This Role

You'll participate in advanced R&D projects for lunar transportation and infrastructure, integrating RF and Optical Communications subsystem architectures using Python-based modeling tools. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Japan, EU, and US to support technology demonstrations and commercial deployment. This role offers a chance to shape the company's R&D direction with direct input from the CTO.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and evaluate RF and Optical Communications subsystem architectures for space missions.
• Develop Python-based analytical models for tradespace exploration and architecture evaluation.
• Collaborate with global multidisciplinary teams on conceptual system design.
• Lead communications-focused R&D tasks with clear documentation.

📋 Requirements

• BSc/MSc in RF/optical communications or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RF and/or optical communications system analysis.
• 3+ years of Python programming with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in interoperable nodes constellation design.
• Proficiency with GMAT or STK for modeling and optimization.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
