💼 About This Role

You'll build the core backend systems powering Coris' AI-native risk platform. You'll design APIs, data models, and services that enable real-time decisioning and scalable data ingestion for fintech and payments customers. You'll partner with founders and customers to translate complex risk problems into robust infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and ship backend-first features including APIs and data models
• Build and evolve systems for AI-driven risk workflows and large datasets
• Architect secure, reliable infrastructure for fintech and payments
• Own features end-to-end from schema design to production rollout

📋 Requirements

• 3-7+ years of experience building backend systems in production
• Highly proficient in Python and Django or similar frameworks
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL including schema design and migrations
• Comfortable designing APIs and data contracts that scale

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-native workflow tools like Cursor or Claude
• Background in fintech or risk-sensitive systems
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
