Description

You will lead and manage a team of estimators to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, overseeing bid proposals and collaborating with various departments to secure new projects and drive company profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of construction estimating experience
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proven history of successfully estimating and securing large-scale construction projects
• Proficient in estimating software (Sage, Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Strong analytical, leadership, and team management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the estimating team, ensuring high performance and effective resource allocation
• Oversee preparation of detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare comprehensive estimates
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects for accurate estimating
• Identify and assess potential risks in project estimates and develop mitigation strategies
