💼 About This Role

You'll join Octopus Energy's tech team to develop and manage the infrastructure used daily by our customers. You'll have a direct impact on client experience with a rapid feedback loop, working on innovative tech solutions to make energy simpler and more accessible. You'll be part of an open and agile culture with flat hierarchies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop backend solutions to integrate new features and optimize services
• Work on APIs, domain modeling, and robust software
• Collaborate in an agile, flat-hierarchy team
• Contribute to code reviews and technical decisions

📋 Requirements

• 4-5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Python and Django
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Proficiency in Celery, Postgres, and asynchronous processing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Packer, or Consul
• Familiarity with React or Next.js
