You'll define the technical direction of our Cloud Infrastructure team at Valon, building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance. You'll own production infrastructure for compute, databases, and networking, scaling from 100M to 1B+ daily jobs. This role offers high autonomy and impact at a Series C company backed by a16z with 60%+ margins in mortgage servicing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set technical direction for cloud infrastructure architecture and roadmap.
• Lead design and execution of cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives.
• Own reliability, scalability, and security of production infrastructure.
• Drive architectural decisions through design docs and technical reviews.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or DevOps engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure at significant scale.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform or Pulumi.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end.

• Experience with Vitess, Clickhouse, or Redis.
• Background in regulated finance or mortgage servicing.
