You'll use Core Java to build and enhance trading strategies and engines for a global team. You'll contribute to high-volume, low-latency systems and participate in the full software development lifecycle. This role offers the chance to work with modern Java technologies in a hybrid Budapest setting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Use core Java to build and enhance trading strategies and engines.
• Work closely with global trading, quant, and IT teams.
• Contribute to algorithm development, system performance improvements, and data analysis.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

📋 Requirements

• Strong Core Java knowledge in a UNIX/Linux environment.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Experience with Git/Stash and Jenkins.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).

✨ Nice to Have

• Interest in automated market making, DMA, or algorithmic trading using FIX protocol.
• Experience with web services (REST), TypeScript, preferably Angular.
• Experience with low-latency messaging and pub/sub technologies.
