Description

You will design, build, and maintain core backend services for Temporal's highly scalable, multi-tenant platform, including components like Quotas, Throttling, Visibility, and Task Processing. You will collaborate with the Open Source Server team to deliver an enterprise offering with both on-premise and dedicated cloud deployments.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in production environment building highly scalable distributed systems
• Solid CS fundamentals in distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency
• Experience writing concurrent code in Go or Java at intermediate/advanced/expert level
• Experience working with Open Source Systems
• Experience building and running services on AWS

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core backend service features
• Provide unit, integration, and performance test coverage for feature areas
• Document design choices and operational knowledge for deployment and running services
• Provide service-level logs and metrics for cloud service setup
• Provide alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production
