💼 About This Role

You'll join Jane Street's Network Security team to run, scale, and improve network security infrastructure through hands-on operations and design. You'll support a multi-vendor network supporting trading and internet connectivity. This role offers exposure to advanced networking and security challenges in a top-tier trading firm.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy security perimeter and adjacent network infrastructure
• Manage network segmentation, DMZ, and network security aspects
• Evaluate and lab test new platforms for network security infrastructure
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity team on threat detection and mitigation

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years operating and deploying network infrastructure
• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
• Strong understanding of firewall hardware architecture and configuration
• Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and encryption techniques

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with overlay networks (EVPN, VxLAN)
• Proficiency in a programming language
