💼 About This Role

You'll join Wayve's Hardware team to develop next-generation autonomous driving compute platforms, focusing on low-level electronics design and high-performance compute integration. Your work will directly translate autonomy requirements into robust, scalable hardware systems, collaborating across hardware, software, and systems teams. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge computing platforms and the opportunity to shape the future of embodied AI in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop embedded electronics systems for autonomous driving applications.
• Architect compute platforms for ML workloads and optimize for performance.
• Own board-level design, bring-up, validation, and debugging across hardware and software boundaries.
• Lead schematic design, PCB layout reviews, and signal integrity considerations.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in electronics or embedded systems design.
• Strong experience with board-level design, bring-up, and debugging.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems and compute architectures.
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, USB).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing hardware for AI/ML workloads or high-performance computing.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA and Qualcomm SoC applications.
• Autonomous vehicle, robotics, or other safety-critical system experience.
