💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design of solid-state power amplifier modules from concept to production at a high-growth defense technology company. You'll own product development through all stages of conception, prototype, and productization. This role offers the chance to work with a talented engineering team in a fast-paced environment applying emerging technologies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design high-power microwave amplifiers and RF front-end modules
• Model, simulate, analyze, design, test, and optimize power amplifier circuits
• Generate schematics and collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and PCB layout teams
• Develop design verification test plans and assist with testing

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with RF Engineering focus
• 5+ years experience in broadband high power amplifier design from UHF to C band or higher with power levels 100W+
• Experience with RF cascade analyses and component selection/evaluation
• Proficiency with Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR for circuit modeling and simulation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D EM simulation tools like Ansys HFSS, CST, or Feko
• Familiar with RF filter design
• Experience with PCB design/layout
