💼 About This Role

You'll program and optimize multi-axis CNC machines for precision aerospace components at a startup building advanced reentry systems. Your work will directly impact the production of hardware that delivers payloads from space to Earth in under an hour.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes for aerospace parts
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for tight-tolerance complex parts
• Support machine setups, prove-outs, and first-article runs
• Collaborate with engineering on DFM and prototyping

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC programming in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines (5-axis)
• Proficiency with Mastercam CAM software
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or rapid product development environment
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar aerospace quality systems
• Ability to mentor junior programmers or machinists
