Description

You will design and implement automated, scalable processes for calibrating hundreds of satellites to ensure geometric specifications and SLAs are met. You'll develop photogrammetric models, error budgets, and calibration concepts, and troubleshoot geometric image quality issues to maintain high spatial data standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years industry experience with statistical processing and analysis of large measurement datasets
• Bachelor's degree in Photogrammetry, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics relevant to geometric characterization
• Hands-on, collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of end-to-end image processing chain from sensor to geometric characterization
• Extensive experience with scientific Python in Unix/Linux and cloud computing (AWS or GCP)

• Perform geometric calibration and performance characterization for space imaging operations
• Design and implement automated scalable processes to calibrate hundreds of satellites
• Develop performance models, error budgets, and calibration concepts for new high-resolution constellations
• Troubleshoot geometric image quality issues and develop long-term fixes
