💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Claims department, driving operational excellence and service delivery for life and annuity claims. Your core impact will be ensuring compliance, improving processes, and developing high-performing teams. This role offers direct oversight of complex claims and strategic influence on department culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day claims operations and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and present operational plans balancing workload and process goals.
• Manage quality review and control processes for claims activities.
• Provide technical leadership on complex contestable and accelerated benefit claims.
• Report regularly to AVP on team performance and operational risks.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years life, annuity, or disability claims experience including contestable and accelerated benefits.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a claims environment.
• Experience managing relationships with external partners or TPAs.
