Description

You will develop advanced flow control devices and mechanisms for Starship and Super Heavy, owning the relationship between vehicle hardware/systems and manufacturing teams. You'll spearhead projects from design to flight readiness, optimizing for manufacturability and reliability in extreme environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience designing and analyzing mechanical systems.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with fluid, gas, or high voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop flow control devices and mechanisms for Starship and Super Heavy systems.
• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to accelerate component delivery.
• Generate detailed drawings, specifications, and risk assessments.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Act as chief engineer to inform system-level architecture.
