💼 About This Role

You'll join the Data Infrastructure team within our Data ML Platforms organization, building the data lakehouse, streaming, orchestration, and catalog platforms that power analytics and AI. You'll own and deliver projects in service of quarterly goals, solving ambiguous, open-ended problems in collaboration with cross-functional partners. This role participates in rotational on-call pager duty.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and deliver well-scoped milestones for projects
• Lead design for small-to-medium components
• Own reliability, performance, and developer experience of a data infrastructure component
• Participate in on-call coverage

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a software engineer with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ with advanced degree
• Strong proficiency in Python in a production context
• Production experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow
• Production experience with AWS or another major cloud

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with payments or FinTech space
• Experience with Apache Iceberg specifically
• Experience with CDC tooling (Debezium or Kafka Connect)
