You will build scalable distributed systems using modern technologies like Kotlin and AWS, working in a remote-first agile team to enable equal access to finance. Contribute to JUMO's banking-as-a-service platform that powers loans and savings products for partners.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree
• Experience with Kotlin/Java/Scala and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Python experience is an added advantage
• Experience designing, developing, and testing high-volume/low-latency services
• Good communication skills and EQ for diverse team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Deliver across SDLC to build highly scalable distributed systems
• Define team roadmap aligned with company and technology vision
• Architect services using well-accepted design patterns for iterative scaling
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and support products and services
• Review code and guide team to write production-ready, testable code
