💼 About This Role

You'll lead mechanical design and analysis for spacecraft subsystems and payloads at Loft. Your core impact is ensuring mission success through structural analysis, CAD modeling, and test oversight. This role offers hands-on work across the full satellite lifecycle.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and own mechanical analysis budgets and CAD models
• Conduct structural and thermal analysis of spacecraft components
• Generate test plans and procedures for verification activities
• Support assembly, integration, and testing of space missions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years experience in spacecraft mechanical design and structural analysis
• Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software
• Expert knowledge of FEA solver and pre/post processor (Femap, Patran, Nastran, ANSYS)
