💼 About This Role

You'll join Vicarious Surgical's team in Bangalore to support mechanical development of equipment for our surgical robot. You'll own subsystems within a larger piece of equipment, from concept through manufacturing. This role offers the chance to work on medical device product development with a US-based next generation robotics company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in all phases of product development
• Manage subsystem ownership within larger equipment
• Analyze and suggest design improvements to prototypes
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on prototypes

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years experience with Bachelor's (or 2+ with Master's)
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling
• Ability to produce, review, and understand engineering drawings

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analyses
• Experience with medical device product development and 510(k) process
• Prior experience with robotics systems or human input devices
