Description

You will complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of structural stands, working with a team on-site at Starbase, TX. This role involves analyzing engineering drawings, utilizing hand welding and flame-cutting equipment, and performing quality inspections per AWS/ASME standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years TIG or GTAW welding experience
• Knowledge of AWS/ASME codes and engineering requirements
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Must be able to work at heights up to 500ft and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Complete welding assignments for construction and repair of site structural stands
• Cut, trim, and fabricate metal components per engineering drawings
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations
• Perform visual inspection of welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3
• Operate hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to assemble structural forms
