💼 About This Role

You'll join Mirai Bio to develop and optimize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for nucleic acid therapeutics. Your work will directly advance platform innovation and preclinical pipeline programs. This role sits at the interface of formulation science, chemistry, and process development within a Flagship-backed biotech.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, formulate, and characterize LNP systems for nucleic acid delivery
• Develop and optimize formulation processes including microfluidic mixing and scale-up
• Screen novel ionizable lipids and evaluate structure–function relationships
• Troubleshoot formulation and process challenges for robustness and scalability

📋 Requirements

• Ph.D. and 0-1 years or 4+ years (M.Sc.) or 6+ years (B.Sc.) industry experience in LNP formulation
• Hands-on experience in LNP formulation and characterization
• Strong understanding of drug delivery systems for nucleic acid therapeutics
• Experience with nanoparticle characterization techniques (DLS, zeta potential, Ribogreen)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with formulation process technologies (microfluidic mixers, TFF)
• Knowledge of lipid chemistry or bioconjugation techniques
• Experience supporting in vivo studies or translating formulations to preclinical scale
