Description

As Legal Counsel, you will handle complex litigation and appellate advocacy, train junior attorneys, and advise clients on legal rights, especially in First Amendment and civil rights cases. You will also interact with media, review contracts, and support the Development team.

Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one US state
• 1+ years of complex litigation experience
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Capacity to work in a team and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and client interviews
• Handle discovery, depositions, and court appearances
• Interpret laws and advise clients
• Review contracts and advise on legal issues
• Train and mentor junior attorneys
