You'll design and support outside plant telecom infrastructure for fiber and copper networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project budgets. Your work will directly expand and maintain critical telecom services like FTTH and Metro-E. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and engineer OSP copper and fiber cable networks
• Develop engineering plans for pole, conduit, and buried facilities
• Track project budgets and compare estimated versus actual costs
• Prepare permit packages for submission to local jurisdictions

📋 Requirements

• Experience designing and engineering OSP telecom infrastructure
• Strong understanding of OSP principles and industry practices
• Experience with right-of-way acquisition and permitting processes
• Familiarity with telecom network systems including FTTH, DSL, Metro-E

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience reviewing and performing quality control on engineering work
• Knowledge of COE/OSP work order procedures and telecom construction practices
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
