Description

You will develop and execute external communications plans for Careem's product and business announcements across multiple verticals, manage media relations, draft bilingual press materials, and coordinate executive speaking opportunities. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and brand integrity.

Requirements

• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 7+ years of experience in corporate communications or PR (agency background preferred)
• Strong UAE media relations and deep understanding of the UAE media landscape
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement external communications plans for key product and business announcements across Careem's verticals
• Draft bilingual press releases, media statements, and executive briefings
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with tier-one media across print, digital, and broadcast
• Proactively pitch stories, interviews, and features reinforcing Careem's leadership
• Identify and coordinate executive speaking opportunities and manage awards nominations
