Description

You will build relationships with investment professionals across the Western US, utilizing best-in-class sales processes and pipeline management to onboard new clients for GLG's Financial Services business. This role requires direct engagement via phone, meetings, and email, and collaboration with internal teams to accelerate sales cycles.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of demonstrated success in financial services or subscription sales generating $1M+ in new business revenue
  • Experience with investors and financial services firms (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Credit)
  • Strong interest in and understanding of the research process for Hedge Funds
  • Track record of overachieving in a performance-based environment
  • Experience in financial services research data or consulting industry

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with Public and Private Equity investment professionals via phone, in-person meetings, and email
  • Articulate GLG's market leadership and value proposition
  • Develop account plans for top prospects and territory strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to accelerate sales cycles and close new business
  • Lead onboarding sessions for new clients and users
