Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• CPR / First Aid Course desired
• Previous experience working with elders preferred
• Cooking experience for family or group preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift, grasp, pull, stretch, kneel, walk, sit for long periods

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, and dressing
• Assist with transfer, ambulation, and toileting for non-weight-bearing needs
• Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge
