πΌ About This Role
You'll lead a dynamic field sales team transforming how retailers operate, overseeing District Sales Managers and Territory Account Executives across the Great Lakes East region including major metropolitan hubs. You'll drive performance against unit sales, revenue, and employee engagement goals, while building a data-first approach to demand generation and pipeline health. This role offers the chance to be part of Toast's newest investment in retail, launched in January 2025.
π― What You'll Do
- Develop and lead a comprehensive Retail Marketing strategy driving acquisition and revenue.
- Build operating models, analytics capabilities, and data infrastructure to optimize funnel performance.
- Champion multi-channel marketing best practices across digital, email, field, and local campaigns.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to embed marketing strategies throughout the merchant lifecycle.
π Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B technology sales leadership experience.
- At least 3 years directly leading managers of quota-carrying sales teams.
- Proven ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on execution levels.
- Experience building and scaling sales in emerging markets or with new product categories.
