💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve the systems and tools that enable Riot's content publishing ecosystem, building scalable backend services and frontend architecture for internal tools. Your work will directly impact millions of players worldwide by ensuring reliable, efficient, and extensible content delivery. This role offers the chance to work on high-scale distributed services and mentor other engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write web applications (TypeScript, ReactJS) with third-party integrations
• Maintain and evolve distributed services used by millions of players
• Collaborate on breaking down work and building important features
• Mentor other engineers to raise the technical bar

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Software Engineer experience
• 2+ years in a senior-level role leading cross-team initiatives
• Expertise with full stack development (Java, React, TypeScript, CSS, Node.js)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (Sanity, WordPress, Drupal)
• Experience with serverless computing (Netlify functions, AWS Lambdas)
• Experience working with UX and visual designers
