💼 About This Role

You'll provide legal leadership for Figure Markets' blockchain-based products and advise on securities and crypto regulations. You'll shape innovative Real-World Asset digital tokens from conception to launch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on federal and state securities, banking, and insurance laws
• Provide legal guidance on Real-World Asset digital tokens and related products
• Offer legal support throughout the product lifecycle from conception to sunset
• Stay current on digital assets, blockchain, and securities regulations

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of securities and cryptocurrency legal experience
• Expertise in Securities Act of 1933, Exchange Act of 1934, and Investment Advisers Act
• Experience with financial agreements like prime brokerage and trading agreements
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and crypto asset regulation

✨ Nice to Have

• Regulatory agency experience at SEC or CFTC
• Product counseling experience in blockchain or crypto
• Interest in DeFi and decentralized applications
