Description

You will design and ensure the success of mechanical and electro-mechanical control assemblies for the Raptor engine by maintaining component temperatures in extreme environments. You will own the relationship between your hardware and suppliers, customers, and test teams, and provide input into vehicle architecture trades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of experience designing and analyzing thermal systems
• Experience with heat transfer principles and thermal modeling tools
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Generate and improve CAD, engineering drawings, analysis, component specifications, and risk assessments
• Spearhead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Develop manufacturable, reliable flow control devices
• Implement thorough component testing across multiple sites
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, testing, and flight teams
