💼 About This Role

You'll lead the AI-native transformation of Roku's advertising business operations, designing and shipping production ML systems end-to-end. You'll translate ambiguous business problems into scalable solutions, partnering across teams to drive measurable impact. This role offers the chance to shape how the organization thinks about AI-native systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and ship production ML and agentic systems end-to-end
• Apply GenAI and LLMs to build RAG pipelines and evaluation frameworks
• Translate ambiguous business problems into production solutions
• Build evaluation loops for precision, recall, drift detection
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistical modeling
• Proven experience building production ML and AI systems
• Hands-on experience deploying models for ranking, recommendation, or NLP

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in advertising, marketplaces, or e-commerce
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field
