You'll build high-level decision-making systems for home robots, blending classical logic with machine learning to enable safe autonomy in domestic environments. You'll work directly with Product and Design to create natural human-robot interaction. This role lets you shape the future of embodied AI in a well-funded startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop high-level decision-making frameworks for autonomous behaviors
• Architect systems for natural human-robot communication
• Build frameworks bridging expressive motion and hardware execution
• Drive platform development toward in-home Beta deployments

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years developing end-to-end AI systems in robotics or games
• Experience with multi-process systems in C++ or Python
• Deep understanding of concurrency and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with multimodal models (VLMs, VLAs) for real-world robotics

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience as a founding or early hire defining roadmap
• Experience deploying multimodal models to physical hardware
• Publications in multimodal models, computer vision, or robotics
