You'll lead a team of technical writers and define documentation strategy for APIs, SDKs, and platform surfaces at Marqeta. Your work will directly impact developer onboarding, integration speed, and long-term customer success. This role is pivotal as Marqeta expands its platform and invests in AI-driven workflows to scale content and improve discoverability.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of technical writers.
• Define and drive documentation strategy and information architecture.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Support to document features.
• Improve developer onboarding and reduce time to integration.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in technical writing or developer documentation.
• 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience delivering documentation for APIs, SDKs, or complex platform products.
• Proficiency with Markdown, Git, and modern documentation tools.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building or scaling developer portals or self-service platforms.
• Familiarity with onboarding flows, sandbox environments, or API-first ecosystems.
• Experience partnering with Developer Relations or developer-facing teams.
