💼 About This Role

You'll support carbon project development by conducting forest inventories using a smartphone-based platform. You'll collect accurate tree and plot data, document forest conditions, and assist with quality control. This field-based role offers flexible seasonal work with direct impact on climate and conservation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Travel independently to forest properties for field inventories
• Collect tree and plot data using smartphone and GPS
• Measure, identify, and photograph trees per protocol
• Process and quality-check collected inventory data

📋 Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (4x4 preferred)
• Ability to work independently in remote areas
• Strong tree species identification skills (regional experience preferred)
• Physical ability to hike long distances in rugged terrain

✨ Nice to Have

• 1–3 years of forest inventory or field forestry experience
• Degree in forestry, environmental science, or related field
• Backcountry, wilderness, or wildland firefighting experience
