Description

You will ensure data protection measures are applied by conducting privacy risk assessments, consulting with stakeholders, and improving privacy program processes. You'll partner with product and engineering teams on new projects, de-risking product development and serving as a trusted adviser.

Requirements

• Knowledge of privacy concepts and ability to apply them to real-world situations
• Experience conducting privacy and third-party risk assessments
• Experience with privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA)
• Experience with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
• Experience using Jira for project tracking and program performance monitoring

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across the privacy team by streamlining workflows and building scalable processes
• Develop and track program metrics to measure effectiveness and communicate health to stakeholders
• Conduct privacy risk assessments of Lyft products, services, and processes
• Assess third parties for security and data protection controls
• Build cross-functional relationships with product and engineering teams and advise on data privacy issues
