Description

You will ensure quality is built into every stage of the Terran R rocket design and production process, working directly with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams. Your work will involve establishing processes, controls, and inspections to balance risk and foster a culture of ownership as the program scales.

Requirements

• Experience in build reliability or quality engineering
• Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM)
• Knowledge of configuration management and control
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and test teams
• Strong problem-solving and risk-balancing skills

Responsibilities

• Standardize drawings and manage design configuration
• Review work instructions and develop process documentation
• Conduct in-process build verification and coordinate travelled work
• Develop standard rework and repair documentation
• Embed reliability from design through production
