💼 About This Role

You'll support our work to grow and diversify our audience and volunteer base as we fight to protect democracy ahead of the upcoming election. You'll engage communities across Georgia, recruit members, and support Election Protection training and volunteer coordination. This temporary role runs May 2026 to January 2027, with hybrid work in Georgia.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Engage members in Election Protection efforts
• Support recruitment and trainings for volunteers
• Serve as first point of contact for volunteers and members
• Travel around North and South Georgia for outreach

📋 Requirements

• Commitment to Common Cause's nonpartisan mission
• Ability to work in-person in Georgia office or statewide at least 3 days per week
• Experience supporting growth of membership bases or issue/political campaigns
• Access to a vehicle to transport election materials

✨ Nice to Have

• Interest in democracy issues: voting rights, redistricting, campaign finance reform
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
• Willingness to have a social media presence on behalf of the organization
