Description

You will leverage Palantir Foundry as CHAOS's internal data operating platform, building and optimizing end-to-end workflows and pipelines that manage sensor, operational, and enterprise data. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure data infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and directly enables mission outcomes, working on the CHAOS Operating System in Foundry—a unified data backbone connecting engineering, operations, and manufacturing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional object-oriented software development
• Experience with Python, SQL data warehouses, and no-SQL systems
• Experience building, testing, and supporting major systems in production
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines in Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms
• Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and build Foundry-based pipelines and workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
• Define data and backend architecture including choice of frameworks and systems
• Build and maintain data infrastructure, real-time data processing, and backend services
• Collaborate with product, system, software, and hardware engineers to integrate data flows into mission workflows
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to longer-term roadmap planning
