💼 About This Role

You'll perform precision mechanical inspections at supplier sites in Minneapolis-St. Paul, ensuring parts meet strict specifications and documenting conformance to industry standards. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global quality services leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies for conformance to drawings and specs
• Perform first article, in-process, and lot sample inspections
• Use precision tools (micrometers, CMMs, etc.) to verify dimensions and GD&T
• Classify defects and verify rework during inspection

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on precision mechanical parts inspection experience
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and industry standards
• Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions (tolerances ≥.005")

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Certification in inspection techniques or GD&T
