Description
You will lead a production team on the night shift, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a food manufacturing environment. You'll plan operations, train and develop staff, collaborate with other departments, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years in manufacturing environment, understanding safety, quality, GMPs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business Operations or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Excellent team building and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Manage a production team of hourly employees on multiple lines
- Plan production operations, establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing
- Lead by example to train and inspire teams to a high-performance culture
- Maximize line efficiency and collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, Quality
- Drive root cause analysis and recommend solutions to avoid reoccurrence
