You'll lead clean sheet design of novel solid rocket motors for national security applications, leveraging additive manufacturing and high-rate production techniques. Your work will directly impact cost, lead time, and flexibility in aerospace propulsion.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Clean sheet design of novel solid rocket motors
• Lead development campaigns to prove conceptual designs
• Guide assembly and testing of initial prototypes
• Generate, review, and approve CAD models and drawings
• Mentor less senior team members

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in aerospace or mechanical engineering with 7 years relevant experience
• Experience with rocket motors and solid propulsion elements
• Proficiency with computer-aided design tools
• Understanding of design for additive manufacturing
• Eligibility for Secret Clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree or PhD in engineering
• Experience with Siemen's NX and Ansys
• DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher
