You'll lead HR strategy and operations for a mission-driven nonprofit focused on democracy and governance. Your core impact will be embedding organizational values across all people systems and scaling culture as the organization grows.
π― What You'll Do
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Supervise a People and Culture team of six across HR operations, talent acquisition, and training
- Embed organizational IMPACT values across all HR systems and communications
- Oversee compensation, benefits programs, and payroll approval
- Manage complex employee relations issues and performance management
π Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive HR or operations experience
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams
β¨ Nice to Have
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP)
- Experience with change management and scaling organizations
- Familiarity with PEO platforms like Rippling
