Description

You will join the Starship Avionics team to design, analyze, and test DC-DC power converters for harsh space environments, work on power system architecture trades, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 1+ years of experience in power converter development
• Experience with DC-DC power converter development
• Experience with magnetics and design of custom transformers and inductors
• Modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test DC-DC power converters for harsh environments
• Perform electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements
• Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to create new power electronics hardware
