💼 About This Role

You'll join the Human Influence team at the AI Security Institute, studying how frontier AI systems influence human attitudes and behavior. You'll design and run large-scale randomized controlled trials with world-class researchers. This role offers direct influence on AI governance and access to frontier models and ample compute.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist in designing and running human experiments
• Analyze experimental data using statistical models
• Contribute to research on AI persuasion and manipulation
• Collaborate with research scientists on study design

📋 Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience planning and conducting human experiments
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or R
• Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling (e.g., multilevel regression)

✨ Nice to Have

• Published work related to societal impacts of AI
• Experience with model evaluations or AI safety projects
• Enrolled in MSc/PhD in a relevant field
