💼 About This Role

You'll own the quality and consistency of Poolside's design across product, marketing, brand, and systems surfaces. You'll write reusable, production-quality frontend code and build a design system that scales with the company. This role is for a systems thinker who sets the experiential standard across everything Poolside ships.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own quality and consistency across product, marketing, brand, and systems surfaces.
• Build and evolve the design system into a scalable pipeline.
• Write reusable, production-quality frontend components and systems.
• Partner with Design Engineers on external-facing brand and marketing surfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to implement design system work.

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience designing across product, marketing, brand, and systems.
• Visual craft with high polish and typographic sensitivity.
• Proficiency writing reusable, production-quality frontend code.
• Genuine history of building with code (scripts, tools, personal projects).
• Deep experience designing for developer tools specifically.

• Experience building and scaling design systems.
• Systems thinking across multiple surfaces.
• Familiarity with developer workflows (version control, CLI, deployment).
