Description

You will lead high-impact initiatives, design and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models on vision sensor data, and shape the long-term data science strategy to improve driver safety and operational efficiency in commercial fleets.

Requirements

• M.Sc. required, Ph.D. a plus in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Physics or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of related industry experience
• Expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and statistical modeling
• Experience with large-scale datasets, data processing, feature engineering, and data visualization
• Proficiency in Spark, SQL, Python, AWS/GCP, PySpark, scikit-learn, OpenCV

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy ML solutions using vast real-world data to solve transportation safety problems
• Create large datasets to develop new algorithms advancing the state of the art in transportation safety
• Collaborate with Product, Perception, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to refine business questions into tractable analysis and models
• Drive data innovation and mentor other data scientists
