💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical and commercial evaluation of global data center expansion, bridging high-density GPU engineering requirements with the colocation market. You'll own the deal lifecycle from site identification to lease and SLA negotiation, ensuring every megawatt supports Blackwell-class GPU clusters and is structured to protect long-term interests. This role uniquely combines engineering validation with high-stakes commercial negotiations.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Drive execution of LOIs and definitive leases, negotiating power ramp schedules and expansion options.
  • Author and negotiate rigorous SLAs defining uptime, temperature/humidity envelopes, and PUE guarantees.
  • Perform deep-dive technical due diligence on provider sites, verifying redundancy and high-density readiness.
  • Build comprehensive TCO models accounting for rent, power, PUE premiums, and tax abatements.

📋 Requirements

  • 3–7 years in Data Center Site Selection or Infrastructure Strategy.
  • Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical engineering drawings and translate constraints into lease protections.
  • Proven track record of redlining SLAs and negotiating with Tier-1 colocation providers.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel for buy vs. lease and CAPEX vs. OPEX scenarios.

  • Deep understanding of data center power structures (Gross vs. NNN) and utility interconnection processes.
  • Knowledge of regional tax incentive programs (e.g., Texas HB 1223).
