Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Lyft, you will develop and launch algorithms powering core platform services and products, tackling diverse problems in transportation, economics, forecasting, and personalization using petabyte-scale data.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related quantitative field
• 3+ years of Machine Learning experience
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or other programming language
• Strong understanding of ML methodologies (supervised learning, forecasting, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Business Partners to apply ML for business impact
• Perform data analysis and build proof-of-concept to explore and propose ML solutions
• Develop statistical, machine learning, or optimization models
• Write production quality code to launch ML models at scale
• Evaluate machine learning systems against business goals
